How does an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) work?

An IGR mimics an insect hormone involved in egg hatching and insect maturation to the adult stage. When exposed to an IGR, insect eggs fail to hatch and die before becoming biting adults. An IGR does not kill adult insects.

Eggs represent about 50% of the entire flea population present in your home at any given time.
